Head to the famous Waves & Whales Viewpoint (on Steenbras Street), or the dramatic Clifftops Viewpoint (just before the parking & access to the beach), where panoramic vistas roll out before you like a living postcard. Here, you will find benches and tables lovingly donated and mosaiced by the Brenton Angels and local friends, a true community labor of love! Pick your perch, sip something chilled, and let the sky and sea dazzle you while you swap stories or simply soak up the moment.

Fisherman’s Walk, a cliffside path offers panoramic views and a chance to spot migrating whales between June and November. Early risers are often treated to the spectacle of mist lifting off the sea, with the call of oystercatchers echoing across the dunes. This is a short walk from Waves & Whales, and you cannot miss it when you enter and leave the complex.
Buffalo Bay
A short scenic drive away, Buffel’s Bay (or “Buffs” to the locals) is a laid-back haven for surfers, sunbathers, and beachcombers alike.
